It is important to follow these steps before your CRT appointment.

Food & Drink

• The patient should have a light breakfast.
• No caffeine, alcohol or smoking.

• Do not bathe or shower.
• Avoid any strenuous physical activities including sports and sex.
• Do not fly for 24 hours prior to the procedure.
• No tanning for 24 hours before the exam.
• Only take medication that you cannot go without
• Do not have any type of regulative therapy for one week before the exam including acupuncture or homeopathy.
• Arrive relaxed.

• Wear long sleeved and long legged clothing, yet avoid tight clothing including turtlenecks.
• Bras and eyeglasses must be removed 30 minutes prior to the exam.
• Patients must not use body or facial lotions or cosmetics.
• Beards and body hair can interfere with some measurements. Call to clarify what should be done.
